We are devastated to announce that Hack to School has been cancelled due to issues caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

We are so sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused, and we hope that you will consider joining us in the Fall when we unveil HackUTD VII. To all of our hackers, please stay healthy and safe, the whole team hopes to see you back very soon.

When is Hack to School?

It will on Saturday, April 18th. The event will start at 9am to 9pm!

Where is Hack to School?

It will be located on the first floor of ECSW!

What is a Hackathon?

A hackathon is the equivalent of a marathon for engineers and developers where teams of all background compete to an application or software overtime

What if I don't have a team?

There will be a teambuilding event at the beginning of the Hackathon, and you can always work individually.

Who can attend?

Any UTD Student that is over 18 years old, all majors are welcomed!

Do I need to apply?

We encourage you to apply as we can not guarantee walk-ins for this event.

What should I bring?

UTD ID, Laptop, charger, headphones, and anything else you may need. We provide food, drinks, and hardware!

What projects can I make?

We encourage projects to be focused on innovating education, from academics to stress relief.

How much does it cost?

HackUTD provides food, drinks, and attendance all for free!
